1- It is the patient's right to receive optimal health services
 
These services should be respectful, honest, fair, fast and free of discrimination as much as possible.

The special conditions of the patient (deaf, child, foreign language, etc.) should be taken into consideration. It should be based on current knowledge, the patient's interests, and suitable facilities and conditions and away from pain and suffering.

In emergency situations, it is free from the requirement to cover the cost or with the provision of transfer to other centers.


2- The information should be provided to the patient in a suitable and sufficient manner


The information includes: possible costs, covered insurances, names and responsibilities of treatment staff members, provisions of the patient's bill of rights, weaknesses, strengths and possible complications of the treatment method and explanation about alternative treatments, how to access the doctor, necessary training about the disease, pictures of the information recorded in the file


3- The patient's right to freely choose and make decisions must be respected


The patient has the right to choose in the following cases:


- Request to choose a doctor, if possible, choose a center that provides diagnostic and therapeutic services and ask for the opinion of the second doctor as a consultant


Accepting or rejecting the proposed treatment after being informed, except for emergency cases with a doctor's diagnosis

 
-Giving enough time to make a decision and choose, if there is no risk for the patient


4- The principle of confidentiality and respect for the patient's privacy should be observed

 
The patient's privacy should be respected and the necessary facilities should be provided for this purpose. Only the patient, the treatment group and authorized legal persons have the right to access the patient's information.

It is the patient's right to be accompanied by a trusted person during the diagnostic process, unless it is against medical necessity.


5- grievance procedure is the patient’s right


The patient has the right to complain to the competent authorities in case of violation of his rights, without disturbing the quality of the services received, and to be informed of the results of his complaint in the competent authorities and after the investigation, he is informed in the same way.
